Despite the ubiquity of smart phones and selfies many people are still very uncomfortable in front of a camera. As a photographer my aim is to put everyone at ease, to capture all the amazing moments of the day, to tell the story in a way that is fun and relaxed for all. Taking a mix of formal pictures and candid shots, the complete wedding album will capture a narrative of the day through a series of beautiful images rich in feeling, love and emotion. As a photographer, I want to capture memories that will last a lifetime. This is why I enjoy photographing weddings so much. The photos are just so very important and special. My aim is to create images that will make the viewer feel like they are there, involved, reliving all the wonderful moments of the day. A treasured keepsake of beautiful memories.

Following a documentary style of photography I use my camera to tell stories with photos. My role is to build a photographic archive of memories to keep, share and love, capturing a narrative of all the unique and intimate moments that make each wedding day so extraordinarily special. I work unobtrusively to record the often funny, tender, reflective and intimate interactions between family and friends as they come together to celebrate. Using available light whenever possible, I watch for the photographic moments that arise spontaneously from the natural flow of events to showcase the love, friendship and joy that make each wedding unique.
